I love that quote from Anne of Greene Gables – “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers!” I really am. Fall is definitely my favorite season, and I look forward to it every year – the colors, the smell of fall (it just…smells like fall, know what I mean? SO amazing.), the crisp feeling in the air, pies, other yummy delights, the cozy sweaters and fun scarves, cinnamon apple candles. And tea every day. Yes.
This fall has been particularly special and busy also because my WEDDING date is coming up soon!! I can hardly believe how fast time has flown! Joshua and I have been reading the book of Psalms backwards together each day to help us count down how many days are left while keeping our focus on the Lord, and we enjoy it so much.
I’m also enjoying putting finishing touches on so many different things for our special day and somehow the colder weather is helping me to think up fresh ideas for a lot of things. Probably because our wedding will be when there is colder weather and it’s just hard to think cold-weather-thoughts when it’s 90 degrees outside. 😀 Now I’m thinking more pine-cone-y thoughts. 🙂
